No. Many couples choose to reach a financial agreement with professional support outside the traditional solicitor-led process. Once agreement has been reached, a consent order can be drafted and submitted to the Family Court for approval.

IIn most cases, yes. Reaching an agreement is only part of the process. A consent order can formalise that agreement and provide greater financial protection for both parties.

The Close to Agreement package is designed for couples who have largely agreed but would benefit from structured support to resolve the remaining points before a consent order is prepared.

The Not Yet Agreed package provides structured negotiation support, financial disclosure guidance and assistance developing settlement proposals before preparing the final consent order.
